Thailand’s MCOT TV launches “Japan Discovery” to promote tourism industry in Japan

Nagoya (Japan), May 16 (ANI): Japan is eager to invite foreign tourists to boost the industry. Japanese Government are focusing on the tourism industry and appealing them to get involved to uplift the sector. In the foreign countries introduction of Japan tourism is an attractive element of media including TV. The TV crew of “MCOT” television from Thailand filmed the traditional castle of Nagoya located in Aichi Prefecture of Japan. They covered the off-beat tourism spots apart from famous Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, and so on. This TV program’s title is “Japan Discovery - 2 Gens’ Venture in Japan. This is a Japanese temple named “Kakuozan Nittaiji” that has a deep connection with Thailand. In the temple, there is a statue of “Chulalongkorn”, a famous king from Thailand. It is one of the most important places for Thai people living in Japan. Visitors can find Thai- characteristics in the temple which shows the connection with the country. The reporters from MCOT TV interviewed two generations of chief priests from the temple, and explored the history and relationship with Japan. For Thai tourists, this program is a great opportunity to know about the tourism spots through reporter's real-life experiences and comments that are informative.
