He had suffered a sudden loss of consciousness at home and was subsequently rushed to AIIMS. In this grieving time, let's get down memory lane and visit the former PM village in Gah, Pakistan. Pakistan’s Punjab province Gah, was mourning the loss of its beloved son, Manmohan Singh. People there held a meeting to pay tribute to Singh, who died on December 26 at the age of 92. The local school, where Singh received his early education, holds a special place in the village. Head of the government primary school felt very proud as the late Manmohan Singh was his father’s classmate. His admission number, 187, and date of admission, April 17, 1937, are still recorded in the school register. For the people of Gah, his rise to prominence was a source of immense pride, and his passing has left a deep sense of loss.
