‘Situation normal in Srinagar’, say Afghan, Ugandan envoys

Srinagar (J&K), Feb 13 (ANI): Envoys of Afghanistan and Uganda in Srinagar, who are part of 2nd batch of delegation on J&K visit, stated that situation in the area has been normalized and locals are running their business smoothly. “People are running their business, students are going to schools, and shops are open. Situation is getting normalized,” said Tahir Qadiry, Afghanistan envoy to India. “I have seen people trading, people walking around the town and more over I have seen their bright faces,” said Dinah Grace Akello, Uganda’s High Commissioner to India. 2nd batch of 25 foreign envoys, including those from Germany, Canada, France, New Zealand, Mexico, Italy, Afghanistan, Austria, Uzbekistan, Poland, as well as envoys of the European Union in J&K arrived in Jammu and Kashmir on February 12.
