MoS V Muraleedharan meets Pope Francis in Vatican City

New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): The Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs V Muraleedharan met Pope Francis in Italy's Vatican City on October 13. He presented him the 'The Bhagavad Gita According to Gandhi' and 'Caparisoned Elephant' of Kerala temple festivals. Meanwhile, he also met Archbishop Paul R Gallagher. V Muraleedharan is currently on a two-day visit to the Vatican City in Rome to attend the Canonisation ceremony of Sister Mariam Thresia. He is accompanied by a group of delegation. On July 1, Pope Francis had formally approved his canonisation at an ordinary public consistory of cardinals on causes of canonisation at the Vatican.
