Milwaukee, Wisconsin (US), July 19 (ANI): American national security policy professional Elbridge A Colby ahead of the 4th day of Republican National Convention said that the Republican Party sees India as a Key ally and partner. While speaking to ANI, he said that India has an exceptionally " I think there's a very clear sense across the country, but certainly in the Republican Party, that India is a key ally and partner. I think India represents, in my own view, a model kind of partner for the United States going forward, which is the kind of country that is obviously great power rising, also is willing to take on a lot of responsibility, doesn't expect the United States to take care of business for it is not a dependency and, in fact, insists on being treated as an equal. And that's exactly the kind of partner that we need in this day and age that's willing to stand up to the Chinese along the mountains of the border is a very formidable military, a rising tech superpower. So I think the future with India is exceptionally bright. Certainly, if there's a Trump Vance victory in November, as I hope there will be," said Elbridge A Colby
