Gilgit Baltistan rejects Pakistan’s call for its 5th province

Gilgit Baltistan, 25 February, 2020: - People in Gilgit Baltistan have rejected Pakistan’s move to make the occupied region as its 5th province. The activists here are demanding the end of decades of subjugation and barbarism in Gilgit Baltistan, a part of the erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir. The demands for ‘self determination’ and ‘self-governance’ have further emboldened among the people here. The residents also demand Pakistan to adhere to the United Nations’ Security Council Agreement on the status of Gilgit Baltistan.
