Grace Preservation Second Global Conference opens in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi [UAE], November 28: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority, affirmed the United Arab Emirates' strong commitment to preserving all the graces and resources bestowed upon it by God, and to working on their development and proper utilisation to serve the community and humanity at large,
In his speech at the opening of the Grace Preservation Second Global Conference, which commenced yesterday, Tuesday, at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, H.H Sheikh Hamdan stated that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen on benefiting from knowledge, expertise, and successful experiences worldwide in its efforts to preserve graces and achieve sustainable development.
The UAE strongly supports the agricultural sector and collaborates with everyone to enhance global food security, Sheikh Hamdan added in the speech delivered on His Highness' behalf by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
He added that the UAE values every beneficial endeavour and fully understands that quality of life fundamentally depends on achieving social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
The UAE, he stressed, works to provide all the conditions under which its people can innovate, contribute, and achieve, while ensuring the complete integration of all its inhabitants in its successful journey across various fields.
He welcomed the participants at the conference on UAE soil, noting that this international event aims to create effective channels for exchanging knowledge and expertise regarding the best global practices in areas such as grace preservation, reducing food waste, combating hunger, achieving food security, conserving water and other natural resources, recycling, and achieving sustainable agricultural development while relying on modern technologies and advanced knowledge.
