European Union and the GCC have a dynamic relationship

Muscat [Oman], June 25: The European Union and the GCC have a dynamic relationship, and both regions are working together in many fields such as trade, innovation, multilateralism, democracy and social transformation.
Human rights issue has been an important factor for both the regions and they are working on it through dialogues.
In an exclusive interview with the Times of Oman, Luis Miguel, the spokesperson of the EU for the MENA region, said that the EU wants to have dialogues to see how both the regions can understand each other's issues better through regular interactions.
The EU and GCC regularly hold meetings on the human rights issue. Both regions seek a stronger partnership on human rights to solve conflicts and achieve peace and prosperity.
The EU has 140 offices around the world which help it to better engage with other countries. Miguel stated that the EU will open an office in the Sultanate of Oman soon.
